Webpage Design

I enjoy a strong following my webdesign pieces, being one of just a handful of webdesigners and trainers in Tasmania.

Just like my website, my designs are different, refreshing and effective.

I am able to handle the smallest website right through to a large databased site. I enjoy designing small websites for businesses who wish to try e-commerce for the first time, but have the experience and know-how to put quite large complex sites together as well.

To those for whom it makes sense, we are designing sites in PHP and sql databases with a low and easy maintenance for the client. - In the next month several of these will be available for scrutiny - including a booking system for accomodation!

Costs are quite reasonable, the initial site design cost is $275.00 (inc GST) and each page on the site costs an additional $110. (note forms cost $220 each as they are made up of two pages and coding.) This however is negotiable dependant on the material to be placed on the

Additional requirements such as flash, shockwave, realaudio, 3d modeling and so forth are available however price is on application.

Please note too - that I am more than happy to design your site, and then let you handle the rest yourself! I am a qualified trainer, and am now designing sites that are compatible with 'Contribute' - a web editor that allows you to make changes without breaking the site, and allowing us to modify the design when the time comes. This program costs $220 incl GST and is the latest on the market. If independance is something that is important to you, I would suggest this is the most cost effective way to do it.

To have your own webpage on the internet can serve several purposes -
  • Advertising - your webpage being likened to that of a colour newspaper clipping with added bits of interest.
  • Sales - by providing a method of payment, a mail order system can be maintained.
  • Data Collection - by having some sort of questionnaire to fill in, you may formulate a database of interested potential clients.
  • Education - a little bit like this webpage, giving information about your products so that the reader comes away with a memory of your site, as well as a likelihood of coming back (perhaps to buy something next time!)
  • Support - a webpage puts a 'face' to your email address, as well as providing added value to your product and services.  It provides another 'residence' for client contact.

My portfolio includes the following sites. I have other impressive sites that are 'work in progress' if you would like to see more - just email me!
